Creative Living in a Medieval Mountain Village - Creative Residencies at Palazzo Galli
Located within the newly renovated 18th century Palazzo Galli, the Fontecchio International Airport is comprised of four independent fully furnished apartments with a shared interior courtyard, two work studios, and multiple event/exhibition spaces (still under construction).

Situated between two natural parks, our desire is to serve as a rural nexus of international relations and a matchmaker of kindred spirits - to be a place/space where artists and creative professionals can unravel and lengthen the processes involved in their work while developing relationships with the local community.
At present, the Airport still operates as an independent artist-led initiative following a slow-growth trajectory (“piano, piano” as they say in Abruzzo), organized by myself and two colleagues. We are currently at the stage of applying to the RESARTIS network for international artist residency centers.
